Two law-abiding retired women have been subjected to repeated abuse at the hands of the Chinese Communist Party for upholding their belief in Falun Gong. Although they have already been subjected to extended prison sentences, including severe abuse and torture, both women are currently imprisoned again, their legal rights denied.

Through practitioners' persistent efforts, more and more people in China are learning the facts about Falun Gong, the brutality of the persecution, and are courageously taking a stand on the side of justice. Grassroots resistance continues to grow, both in China and abroad.
In an attempt to hide what they were doing, the police put on plain clothes and removed the license plates from their police cars.
Despite Chinese law stipulating a speedy trial, this has clearly not applied to a detained Falun Gong practitioner.
