(Minghui.org) My daughter-in-law began feeling very unwell when she was seven months pregnant. She went to the hospital and the doctor said she would need surgery immediately. We were not prepared for an early birth and did not even have a baby blanket to wrap my grandson in when the doctor handed him to me.
I wrapped him in my jacket. He was so tiny! When I looked at his face I was shocked to see it was blue! My heart sank. They gave him oxygen.
The next day the baby's temperature was normal until they removed the oxygen tube and then it dropped again. The doctor suggested that maybe he would be better off at another hospital. Then he said that, even if the baby survived, he would be vulnerable to disease and would likely have compromised liver functions. The doctor had little hope that the baby would survive the day and wanted us to be prepared.
I thought about what the doctor said and thought there was nothing I could do. We put him in his bed. He did not improve all day. We decided to give up and go home.
As I was leaving the hospital I was hit with a feeling of guilt. I thought – I practice Falun Dafa, and my mission is to save sentient beings. Every day I tell others to remember that "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" is good. Should I give up on my grandson so easily? The doctor did not think he would survive the day and yet he is still alive. I am a Dafa disciple – Master decides everything!
I went back to my grandson and began to talk to him. I told him to remember "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." Every day I often said these words to my grandson.
His temperature returned to normal the next day. On the sixth day he was released from the hospital. At home, he thrived. I was scared to think what would have happened had I listened to the doctor and left him in the hospital to die. Master is truly our benefactor!
Now my grandson is seven years old. He is healthy and smart. He once had a high fever. I asked Master to help him. Soon his temperature was normal again. Because he was premature, others were concerned and took him to the doctor, who said everything was normal.
We are blessed because I practice Falun Dafa. We all thank Master for his mercy in saving his life.
